The Tian Tan Buddha (天壇大佛) is a large bronze statue of the Buddha, located at Ngong Ping, Lantau Island, in Hong Kong. Also known as the Giant Buddha, it is the world's tallest outdoor seated bronze Buddha. The statue is located near Po Lin Monastery and symbolizes the harmonious relationship between man and nature, people and religion. It is a major center of Buddhism in Hong Kong, and is also a popular tourist attraction.

ROCK AND ROLL LEETAHSAR, a zany fiction....

there once was a mountain in china. one day suddenly out of the sky dropped a ROCK and hit the peak of Huang-shan and then came crashing and rolling down.....it rolled and it rolled all the way past New Territory, now crashing into HK area.

It went into the underground tunnel linking Kowloon and HK island. continuously, the rock rolled and rolled.....crashing and smashing vehicles in the tunnel. and of course it din have to pay the toll charges cos the toll also got smashed along the rock and roll way......

SPLASH! it popped into the sea but continue rolling this rock....next it surfaced on LANTAU ISLAND and rolled up the island hilly slope...up and up it rock and rolled until it arrived at POH LIAN SEE TEMPLE.

Up the stairs to the BIG BUDDHA, it continued its rock and rolled....up the stairs....it rolled until it hit the big bronze buddha...KOING!....AND KOING!!! the rock finally cracked up...and out popped who else urs truly the goonie goon LEETAHSAR....

and blur blur this goon wandered all over the temple of POH LIAN SEE...and stumbled into a see koo's (nun) room. eyes met and immediately music was heard...and the blur leetahsar was already chatting and having tea with this aged see koo.....adhered by certain unexplained affinity, it was like tahsar and she had met before maybe in their past lives. if not explain the congeniality of two total strangers who had never met in their lives could talk and talk...and sipped tea...and continued talking away like good old friends....

all good things had to end somehow and it was time for rock and roll leetahsar to start rock and rolling away....see koo was quite reluctant to let tahsar leave. as a memorandum, she gave tahsar her lifelong chanting power beads of ebony textured....and the blur king tahsar just took , thanked the wise old dame...and rolled off....

and ladies and gentlemen....that's how i now possessed her power ebony beads...and the affinity with buddhism...and unwittingly sowed my buddhist seed....and hopefully and not too soon to be robed up as monk wannable....
