we walked to CHARCOAL ( the old name was PETALS) which was a SHATEC training school in hotel industry and located at the TREASURY BUILDING. this was pinkie the clown's territory.

we glanced at the menu prices displayed on an artist stand outside. the prices really shocked us! it was like all around $30+ it used to be like below $20 for a 5 course meal with appetiser, soup, main course, coffee/tea (or me) and dessert.
and now the prices had escalated!
kx: er...on second thought, we go back FUNAN for PASTAMANIA...can?
lts: sure! the prices here now like daylight robbery!!
back we went to FUNAN and settled for pasta. i had a veggie pasta. kx ordered the LASAGNE. one shoot bak we got each a freshly brewed kopi for only $1. another shoot bak and a muak from caixim, he got a bowl of MINESTRONE soup.....hahahaha...we finally settled down to sup and enjoy our food and aromatic coffee.
