thx aussieb for ur makan invitation.
speaking of lobsters, i ate quite alot while in hk one yr. it was lobster season and i ate lobster almost everyday from oz specie to boston.so many varied version they were cooked. but the best i love is the cheesy lobster mee.a whole lobster unshelled and chopped up in melted cheese covered wanton mee. damn shiok!
and yes...the juicy siew ngoh with the sar mai fun...roast goose with thick vermicelli soup....shiok man!
and the teochew stinky deep fried tofu and mantis prawn...tsk...tsk...ok...hk, here i come again this march....then maybe detour to taiwan...oh god! i going to get back my sparetyre again....
once i was there, my hkie brought me to YUEN LONG. it was in NT (new terrority which means very ulu). it was a 2 hr bus ride from one terminal to the other end. guess what we went there? to eat a bowl of gluey snake soup and then took another 2 hr bus back to CAUSEWAY BAY where our service apartment was located...no joke my ding hkie pal!4 hrs ride, just to slurp a bowl of gluey snake soup....roast pigeon, another of my favourite. the best was from a restaurant in shatin, SAN SUI WAH which already relocated to vancouver and so r my hk pal and family. been there a couple times and stayed in his very big bungalow in BURNABY, vancouver. very nice place. friendly neighbourhood and what big gardens he has. one infront and one back. we had our parting dinner with roast pigeon again in SAN SUI WAH, at the outskirt of vancouver.
he planted different kinds of flowering plants. a very nice row of heather. a very fragrant poenie and bushes of densely flowering azaleas. in the back garden, he got an apple tree, a pear tree...and i almost add "and a partridge in a pear tree..." hahaha...so fun.yet he is unhappy. he missed hk. if weren;t for his chai por or police chief wife who used to boss the MONGKOK POLICE CLUB, he won't have to go into earlier retirement and forced to migrate. his wife held a very high sensitiv post so the gov there force them to retire and migrate after paying them huge sum in miillions as gratuity. and up to the day both he and his wifey die, they will get a pension of their last drawn pays from the hk gov...so damn good. wish ours can do the same here, man!
beside that, they can return hk anytime and seek free medicals. they are still entitled to this privileges until they kong off....heaven for them actually. no need to work and still got last drawn salaries until they die.
i love to be his neighbour...but who's there to pay my pension? he has 2 daughters and he din even got to worry about their school fees. it's free! gov pow ka liao....utilities damn cheap...no need tv licence to pay...only cable tv if u want to connect. petrol there charged by the gallon and damn damn cheap. for the price of my daihatsu hiject 1000cc, i can get a brand new accura (HONDA).
i especially love VICTORIA ISLAND where the renowned BUCCHART GARDENS is located. got to take a few hours jumbo ferry ride to reach there. this humongous ferry can allow buses to park right into its lower deck. all alight and go into the upper deck and view the beautiful natural forest scenery. u even get to see school of dolphins and seals...very very shiok! there is a restaurant in this monstrous ferry...and most just relax, soak in the sight and enjoy their cuppa. there was also an arcade room with pinball machines...my favourite and other computer games...of course, u got to change u bills to quarters first to play.
and the paps think everyone here are well toadies. c'mon when will they stop living themselves in denial...i hate the bloody paps here.
they deprived us the rights to vote...and to vote them out. they set ridiculous GRCs...queentown, the place i m staying, is a 7 constituencies super grc and named TG. PAGAR GRC. we ve tg. pagar, q'town, alexandra, brickwork, tanglin, cairnhill and my god! moulmein....the last one looks ridiculous as it was all the way out....might as well go include tuas and changi...then no more opps...they win landslide 100% victory....
this land is a good land...with good hardworking people...only thing is everyone just pathetic and can't be bothered being led by the nose. no one dares voice out....no one dares protest...if it dun affect me whatever i m doing now...no one fuck care!
so year in, year out, the paps stay in power...and their heads just swell too big for their shoes...sad :(
i wish we could be like a bit like the hkies...speak out for our rights...fight for it...and not so bo chap! so kiasee!
being poor makes me bold...they can hunt me down...i got nothing to lose...the most i go stay in changi international hotel...or worst...i sadomaschotic by the ugly chua sisters which u r dying for their sadistic ISD treatment....hmm...maybe hor...i do a fiction on this....
LEETAHSAR S&M BY THE UGLY CHUA SISTERS....hahaha...see how...
enjoy ur feast, my dear friend...enjoy the taste of ur delicious hor fun and ur bliss with ur family...i will chant a blessing sutra for u and ur family....take care, brother...;9)
